NOISES OFF IS ON AT TI-AHWAGA
Considered by many to be the funniest play ever written, Noises Off reveals the backstage antics and drama of a group of second-rate actors attempting to perform a frightful flop called “Nothing On.” The New York Times called Michael Frayn’s script, “The most dexterously realized comedy ever about putting on a comedy. A spectacularly funny, peerless backstage farce. This dizzy, well-known romp is a festival of delirium.” The Ti-Ahwaga Community Players’ first successful presentation of the comedy was in 2007. Director Brian Flynn and several actors from the first staging have returned for this production. Returning actors, Kathy Harris, Jamie Cornell, Shawn Yetter, and Christine Hafer, welcome Shane Smith, Kristina Jackson, Yale Williams, Peggy Medina, and Logan Smith to this fun-filled production! Show runs three weekends: March 4th-6th, March 11th-13th, and March 18th-20th, at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center, 42 Delphine Street in Owego. Friday and Saturday curtains are at 8pm, Sunday curtains are 2pm. Cost is $20 general admission, $18 for seniors (over 60). Call (607) 687-2130 for the box office, or visit tiahwaga.com.
