ART EXHIBITS AND WORLD PINHOLE DAY AT THE BUNDY
Two art exhibits open at the Bundy on First Friday, April 7th, with artists’ receptions from 6-9pm. In the third-floor gallery, Animal Adventures features new mixed media pieces by Adam Schultz that “[touch] upon the many spaces in between great thoughts and terrible ideas.” On display in the second-floor gallery are photographs by Rui Gomes Coehlo in a show entitled Wounds in the Dirt: Archaeologists Unearth the Spanish Civil War. Photography is also the theme on Sunday, April 30th from 11-4pm when Binghamton Photo presents an event in honor of Worldwide Pinhole Day. Participants will be treated to a short lecture before being guided in the building their own pinhole camera and being given the opportunity to shoot and develop photos. The event costs $15 with all materials and camera included, or $10 for those bringing their own camera.
The Bundy Museum of History and Art, located at 129 Main Street in Binghamton, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am-5pm. Admission is free.
