JUNE AT THE BROOME COUNTY REGIONAL FARMERS MARKET
This month, our local farmers market will be hosting two very different classes in their commercial kitchen. First, we have Food from the Boot of Italy, a pasta-making class that features “Grandma’s Hankies” along with spring vegetables. The class, taught be Patitucci Cucina’s Marcia Patitucci Waffner, will also include two appetizers. Students/diners should feel free to bring their own wine and beer to this class. Wrapping up the month will be Canning with Ann - Strawberry Jam, a class that teaches proper canning and freezing techniques. Learn how to make early summer’s juicy gems last beyond their season!
Food from the Boot of Italy takes place on June 7th from 5:30-8:30pm and is $45/person. Canning with Ann is on June 23rd from 6-8pm, $25/person. Visit bcregionalmkt.com for more details.
