DUAL EXHIBIT AT COOPERATIVE GALLERY 213

The work of Nancy Ryan and Martha Colgan are on view during February. Treelove reflects Colgan’s lifelong love of trees and her new home in the woods: “Every day a new tree painting appears, expressing my changing weather patterns as well as nature's.” Ryan’s Collections represents her habit of drawing interesting objects, be it be doll parts, gadgets, or bits of nature: “My favorite pieces are the still life drawings because they depict the items that inhabit my studio at any point in time.”

Opens Thursday, February 1 with an artists’ reception from 5-8pm; show runs through February 24. The gallery, located at 213 State Street in Binghamton, is open First Friday 3-9pm, regular Fridays 3-6pm, and Saturdays 12-4pm. More information can be found at cooperativegallery.com or by calling (607) 724-3462.
