IT’S A FAMILY AFFAIR AT MAI THAI
Just up the road from Phuong Nam (which we still promise to frequent despite their new delivery service), is Mai Thai, a new restaurant with a true family-run vibe. The staff is very friendly, and treat you like a guest in their home. They take pride in their ingredients, creating dishes that are borrowed from Thai and Laotian cuisine. We liked the Tom Yum Goong – a thai-inspired soup with a tamarind base. They’ve also got great chicken wings! Next time we go, we’re trying the spicy eggplant.
