Mixed Media and Oil Paintings features paintings by the Kirkwood professor, fine artist, designer, and animator. “Human emotion is contrasted with nature vs. industrial surroundings,” says the artist. “What affects our thought processes? What do we yearn for? Is it nature's sustenance and beauty? Or is it materialistic and greed?"
Opening reception First Friday February 2 from 6-9pm, the show remains on view through the 22nd. The gallery, located at 81 State Street Suite 501 in Binghamton, is open Monday-Friday from 11am-5pm and First Fridays 6-9pm.
