THE BUNDY: TOONS, PUBS, GLITZ, AND ART
February features something for everyone: Cartoon Illustrations by Andy Kwiat in the 3rd Floor Gallery; The Golden Age of Parlor City Pubs: Binghamton Before State Street in the 2nd Floor Gallery showcasing bar and bar culture artifacts from the early-mid 1900s; and Buffy Fabrizi: Glitz Boudoir Photography in the 1st Floor Photo Gallery at 32 Cedar St. Next door at Gallery 31, The Art of Peter Keil - A Retrospective features one of Germany’s best-known contemporary painters. Focusing on people in the fringes of society and the human form, Keil’s expressive paintings are known for their impressive color and dynamic shape.
Opening receptions are February 2 from 6-9pm; shows run through February 27. The Bundy Museum of History and Art, located at 129 Main Street in Binghamton, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am-5pm. Admission to the Art Gallery is free.
